• Define and own the global digital blueprint for purchasing execution from purchase requisition through goods receipt • Establish the global standard and partner with local purchasing teams to adopt and implement it consistently across all sites • Partner with Strategic Sourcing as the primary interface between transactional purchasing execution and strategic supplier management • Own the digital standard for the full purchasing execution cycle: purchase requisition creation and approval workflows, purchase order release and management, supplier order acknowledgment and confirmation, exception management and expediting, and goods receipt processing • Define and drive automation of routine purchasing decisions: auto-approval of standard requisitions within policy parameters • Lead time data quality directly drives planning accuracy and is a shared accountability with the Master Data Governance team • Develop training materials and job aids aligned to the global standard, and support pilot and deployment phases in partnership with the Digital Program Manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field
  • 7+ years in purchasing, procurement operations, or materials management in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with direct accountability for process standards or operational improvement
  • Hands-on experience with purchasing execution in ERP environments, including SAP Materials Management or Oracle Procurement, across multi-site manufacturing networks
  • Proven experience defining process standards and driving adoption across multi-site networks
  • Experience translating purchasing process requirements into functional specifications for technology teams
  • Strong influencing and facilitation skills across purchasing, planning, and operations stakeholders
