Job Description

Creative Brand Designer

tem

• Produce polished brand and campaign assets across web, lifecycle, social, decks and one-pagers. • Adapt key visuals into channel-ready formats and keep files clean, organised and easy to reuse. • Maintain and extend the design system templates and components so good becomes the default. • Build AI workflows into your own production process to ship more, faster, without losing the bar. • Execute high-quality brand and campaign assets across all marketing surfaces, following (and strengthening) the design system. • Prep files for handoff, manage versioning, and ensure accuracy and consistency end-to-end. • Spot gaps in the system and propose fixes rather than working around them. • Use AI tools intentionally to accelerate your own production work. • Build repeatable workflows (prompt patterns, asset pipelines, automations) that compound across projects. • Collaborate closely with Content, PMM and Growth partners to turn briefs into clean output. • Take feedback well, iterate quickly, ship to a high standard with increasing independence.

Job Requirements

  • A portfolio showing strong fundamentals - typography, layout, hierarchy - and clear good taste.
  • Experience producing design across multiple formats (digital and/or brand) in a fast-moving environment.
  • Confident in Figma and comfortable collaborating in shared files.
  • Already using AI intentionally in your own design and production workflow - not just experimenting.
  • Organised and reliable: tracks your own work, flags blockers proactively, doesn't need chasing.
  • Willingness to move fast, take feedback, and iterate without ego.
  • Familiarity with web design constraints and responsive thinking (Bonus).
  • Experience building or maintaining a design system rather than just consuming one (Bonus).
  • Motion or interaction design fundamentals (Bonus).

Benefits

  • Salary aligned to internal benchmarks and reviewed twice a year.
  • Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission.
  • 25 days holiday plus public holidays. Swap public holidays for the ones that matter most to you, and enjoy your birthday off.
  • Remote first and flexible working, with clear core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons.
  • Up to £1,200 or €1,200 per year for your remote setup.
  • Up to £150 or €150 per month for wellbeing.

Role Description You will own ThinkingAI's brand from the ground up — visual identity, voice, and every external surface where the company shows up. This is a builder role: you'll define what the brand looks, feels, and sounds like, then execute the full spectrum of design work that brings it to life across marketing, sales, product marketing, and events. You will be the first dedicated brand hire and the design conscience of the company. What You'll Do - Brand strategy & identity: - Define and document our brand platform: positioning expression, visual identity system (logo system, type, color, motion, illustration, iconography, photography direction), and verbal identity (voice, tone, messaging hierarchy). - Build the brand book and component library that scales. - Website: - Own the design of thinkingai.io end-to-end — IA, page design, component system, landing pages for launches and verticals. - Partner with engineering on implementation. - Marketing & sales collateral: - Design pitch decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, customer case studies, ABM assets, sales enablement materials, and executive-ready exec briefings. - Content & campaigns: - Art-direct and produce visuals for blog, social (LinkedIn-first), launch campaigns, webinars, and email. - Build templates that let the team move fast without losing consistency. - Events & physical brand: - Design booth experiences, signage, swag, and on-site collateral for conferences (AI Engineer Summit, RSA, GTC, Mobile Growth Summit, etc.) and customer events. - Product marketing surfaces: - Partner with PMM on launch design — feature pages, demo assets, screenshots, diagrams that explain agentic concepts clearly to enterprise buyers. - Vendor & contractor management: - Scope and direct external illustrators, motion designers, photographers, and agencies when needed. Qualifications - 4–7 years of brand and visual design experience, ideally including time inside an AI, developer-tools, or B2B enterprise SaaS company. - A portfolio that shows both: - Systems thinking (identity systems, design systems, scalable templates) - Craft (typography, layout, motion, the polish details) - Strong opinions on how a technical, infrastructure-flavored AI brand should look and feel — and the taste to keep it out of the generic "blue gradient + abstract neural network" trap. - Fluency across the stack: Figma (required), Adobe CC, basic motion (After Effects / Rive / Lottie), Webflow or Framer a plus. - Comfort working closely with founders and engineers, translating abstract product concepts (agents, MCP, on-prem deployment) into clear, compelling visuals. - Bonus: experience with technical illustration / architecture diagrams, motion design, or front-end (HTML/CSS) literacy. Compensation - Base salary: $165,000 – $195,000 - Performance bonus: 15% of base, tied to brand launch milestones and marketing OKRs - Total cash compensation: ~$190,000 – $224,000 Benefits - Medical / dental / vision (100% employee premium) - 401(k) - 10 days PTO with ability to request more
