Senior Application IT Developer
Vericast
• Analyzes, models, writes/modifies, and supports software source code • Provides primary legacy platform support (COBOL on HP3000) • Delivers personal tasks on time and supports initiatives • Estimates component/application level work efforts • Creates Application and System Design Documents • Provides on-call support as required • Functions with minimal supervision under deadlines
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years with Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years work experience
- Strong COBOL programming expertise on HP3000
- Experience with HP3000 IMAGE databases
- Proficiency with Robelle tools (SuperTool, Qedit, MPEX)
- Solid JCL knowledge for batch processing
- Experience using ad hoc query tools for data analysis and validation
- Working knowledge of POSIX/Apache in HP3000 or hybrid environments
- Proven support of print production workflows
