Data Analyst, Compliance

• Own the end-to-end preparation and delivery of recurring compliance reports, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory accuracy, timeliness, and documentation standards. • Serve as the primary technical liaison to Legal and Compliance teams, translating their regulatory definitions into precise internal data tags, labels, and SQL logic. • Design and build automated workflows to standardize compliance reporting, moving away from manual interventions to repeatable, code-based solutions (Python/R/SQL). • Partner with BI and Data Engineering teams to ensure data warehousing structures and schemas support current and future compliance use cases. • Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready documentation of reporting logic, definitions, and regulatory mappings. • Translate technical reporting constraints and data nuances into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders. • Implement and maintain robust data quality checks specific to compliance reporting to ensure consistency and traceability. • Assist the broader Business Intelligence team with commercial reporting projects and data analysis during non-peak compliance cycles.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, compliance reporting, or regulatory operations.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (R or Python) is required.
  • Proven ability to work with high-stakes data where precision is mandatory.
  • Excellent communicator, able to fully manage relationships with internal partners.
  • Experience building, documenting, and optimizing repeatable reporting processes.
  • Nice to Have: Experience designing data tagging and labeling frameworks for regulatory or audit use, especially using LLMs.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements specifically within financial services or asset management.
