Azure Kubernetes Service Engineer
Moder
• Design, deploy, manage, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters • Administer Kubernetes workloads, node pools, ingress, scaling, networking, and storage • Build and maintain Docker containers and Kubernetes deployment configurations • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana • Troubleshoot Kubernetes, infrastructure, networking, and application deployment issues • Implement Kubernetes and Azure security best practices including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and workload identity • Support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and platform reliability initiatives • Collaborate with development and architecture teams to improve platform scalability and deployment efficiency • Create and maintain operational documentation, standards, and runbooks • Comply with all company policies and procedures • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Four (4) year College or University
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes administration
- Strong experience with: Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform or Infrastructure as Code, Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Helm, ingress controllers, and Kubernetes networking concepts
- Strong troubleshooting skills in production cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms
- Knowledge of Azure networking, DNS, load balancing, and cloud security best practices
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
