Job Description

Client Services Associate (CLO/ABL Modeler)

Valitana

Role Description We are seeking a Client Services Associate with deep CLO modeling expertise to join our Vantage Client Services team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert on CLO and ABL deal structures, modeling complex transactions within Valitana's platform and partnering directly with sophisticated institutional clients to ensure accurate compliance configuration, indenture interpretation, and platform adoption. This is a senior, client-facing role that combines structured finance fluency, technical platform mastery, and white-glove service. - Model CLO and ABL deals within Vantage, Valitana’s OMS & PMS, ensuring accurate representation of deal structures, waterfalls, and tranches. - Perform indenture analysis to translate deal documentation into platform configurations and compliance frameworks. - Configure and maintain compliance testing for managed deals and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs). - Serve as a trusted advisor to institutional clients — including CLO managers, CLO investors, hedge funds, and asset managers — by delivering white-glove support and responding promptly to complex requests. - Build custom metrics, workflows, and Excel models tailored to client-specific needs, using the Valitana plugin for data integration and calculations. - Assist clients with onboarding, data uploads, and ongoing platform usage to drive adoption and value realization. - Act as a subject matter resource for less senior team members and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing on CLO structures and modeling best practices. Qualifications - 5–7+ years of professional experience in structured finance, CLO modeling, fixed income, or financial operations, with direct experience modeling CLO and/or ABL deals. - Demonstrated ability to read and interpret indentures and translate deal terms into modeling and compliance logic. - Strong understanding of CLO mechanics — waterfalls, OC/IC tests, concentration limitations, and reinvestment criteria — and familiarity with ABL structures. - Prior client-facing experience in consulting, client services, or relationship management capacity. - Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex structured finance concepts clearly to clients. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; degrees in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. - Management or mentorship experience is highly valued. - AI literacy preferred — comfort using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, or client deliverables. Benefits - The base salary range for this role is GBP 70,000 – 100,000. - Valitana offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary and an annual performance bonus. - Employees also receive all UK statutory benefits, including a workplace pension scheme with employer contributions, statutory annual leave, statutory sick pay, and statutory family leave entitlements. - This role is a remote position that does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the existing right to work in the United Kingdom.
