Strategic Account Executive
HITRUST
• Develop and execute strategic account plans designed to nurture long-term revenue growth, customer retention, and expanded market penetration within assigned enterprise accounts • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CISOs, CIOs, risk leaders, compliance executives, and other senior stakeholders • Experience running strategic Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and value realization conversations with executive stakeholders • Experience handling complex onboarding and implementation, adoption and value realization strategies for enterprise customers • Serve as a strategic advisor to customers by understanding evolving cybersecurity, regulatory, and operational priorities • Lead complex enterprise implementations, including multi-stakeholder alignment, identifying and driving optimization and executive business reviews • Drive strategic Business Reviews that show value realization that align HITRUST capabilities with customer business outcomes • Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure long-term retention and customer advocacy • Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer challenges to position HITRUST solutions effectively in the market • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to develop coordinated account engagement strategies • Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and strategic account insights to executive leadership • Drive customer advocacy initiatives, including reference programs, industry speaking opportunities, and executive relationship development • Represent HITRUST at industry conferences, executive forums, and strategic customer engagements • Develop relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to enhance market presence and generate new business opportunities • Provide strategic feedback from customers and the market to help influence product direction, positioning, and growth initiatives • Travel up to 50%
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or IT security sales and/or customer success experience
- Demonstrated expertise in expand motions to identify and execute on growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Strong project management skills with experience coordinating complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- Experience engaging and influencing executive-level decision makers, including CISOs, CIOs, compliance leaders, and senior business stakeholders
- Strong strategic account planning, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting capabilities
- Executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align cybersecurity and compliance solutions to customer business objectives
- Ability to lead high-value executive discussions and navigate challenging customer conversations with confidence and professionalism
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales forecasting methodologies.
