• Prepare and review accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports. • Lead components of the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis, ensuring precision and timely completion. • Partner with Finance Systems to streamline processes and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy. • Hands-on experience applying automation and AI tools to modernize accounting operations and eliminate manual work. • Maintain a strong internal control environment aligned with SOX standards. • Collaborate closely with finance, operations, treasury and other business partners to ensure alignment on accounting policies and business initiatives. • Serve as the key point of contact for external auditors, preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation to ensure smooth audit execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and technical accounting standards.
- Combination of public accounting and experience in the fintech or technology sector is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with ERP Software (ex. NetSuite) and exposure to automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, BlackLine, FloQast, or similar).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
