• Engage with customers, partners or professional services providers in software installation / system integration at client sites and remotely. • Commit long term for migration and support of legacy workloads running on emulators. • Excel in working with legacy systems, troubleshooting network and running virtual machines.
Job Requirements
- System administration and disaster recovery experience managing the following legacy OS environments. Mandatory:
- HP-UX, versions 11.x
- Would be a plus HP-UX 10.x - 9.x
- OR
- Solaris, versions 5.10.x .. 5.11.4
- Would be a plus legacy solaris versions from SunOS4.0.4 to Solaris 5.9
- Linux system and network administration experience (with understanding of system components and services)
- Technical project management skills
- Interest in presales meeting – committed to support our sales team and convince prospects
- Ability to work independently, delivering solutions on time
- Ability to deliver customer satisfaction
- Must play well with others
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency with cloud architecture and key cloud operators
- Software/hardware migration projects experience
- Experience in system administration of the following:
- OpenVMS for VAX, Alpha, and Integrity, versions 4.5 - 8.4
- Tru64 UNIX, versions 3.x - 5.x
- HP MPE-ix, versions 6.0 - 7.5
- System and network troubleshooting experience in mixed Windows/Linux/Solaris/HP-UX/VMS/Tru64/SAN environment
- Understanding and system management experience of virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Understanding and system management experience of LAN network technologies
- Understanding and system management experience of storage technologies (SAN/NAS/iSCSI)
- Understanding and management experience with various application stacks: Oracle, Sybase, RDB, etc.

• Start your day from home, head to customer sites, and manage jobs through our field service system. • Meet the customer, understand the issue, and keep them updated as you resolve the problem. • Use a Windows laptop to review system logs, run checks, and record your work. • Carry out basic connectivity and setup tasks (LAN connections, IP settings, accessing device interfaces). We teach this step-by-step. • Complete preventative maintenance (cleaning, checks, basic adjustments) and replace modules/parts when needed. • Test the equipment and clearly document what you’ve done before leaving. • Use quieter time for structured learning and training modules. ****Service levels & priority work** • You’ll work to agreed service levels (SLAs) that help keep customer sites running. • Most work is planned maintenance and scheduled visits. • When a site has a time-critical issue, you’ll prioritise it with support from scheduling and technical teams. • Our aim is always a first-time fix and minimal disruption for the customer. ****Training & support** • Structured onboarding and shadowing. • Product training and access to learning modules/Academy development. • Ongoing support from schedulers, technical support, and field leadership.
• Install and configure NetApp FAS, AFF, ASA, and E/EF-series systems (switch-based or switchless setups) • Lead planning, design, implementation, and closure • Collaborate with internal engineering teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery • Conduct technical knowledge-sharing and mentoring sessions
• Responsible for installation, commissioning, site acceptance tests and repair of PowerStation, Transmission, Substation & Transformer monitoring equipment. • Planning and Scheduling FS Engineering visits for installation, commissioning, site acceptance tests repair, training and support with OEM and Utility customers. • Liaise with customers to increase FS sales. • Identification and development of commercial opportunities. • Provide V.O.C. feedback to Management, Sales associates, Factory Quality and commercial associates. • Travel required – up to 75%.
