IT Support Technician

Desjardins

Role Description Temporary position for 12 months. As an IT support technician, you provide user support and assistance for IT applications, including: - Installation and configuration - Best practices - Issue resolution - Service request management - IT and technical incident management You help keep IT equipment up and running, particularly through server administration. You serve as a technical collaborator and provide discipline-specific support for your unit’s activities, initiatives, and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is essential. You research and analyze processes, information management, and data processing. You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technical problems and help develop and improve methods and procedures. More specifically, you will be required to: - Provide technical support for projects and operational issues and incidents - Conduct technical research and analysis and serve as a resource person for the submission of solutions - Roll out and maintain software and manual and automated processes - Train users - Manage inventory - Prepare technical notes to enhance the skills and knowledge of users and their teams - Help practitioners follow your unit’s processes and use its tools and systems Qualifications - Trade school diploma in a related field - A minimum of four years of relevant experience - Knowledge of French is required - Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written - Decision quality - Situational adaptability - Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Benefits - Competitive salary and annual bonus - 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year - Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement - Group insurance including telemedicine - Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment - Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria Company Description At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity, and inclusion. Sentry, Grafana). - Capacidad para diagnosticar y reproducir incidencias técnicas. - Conocimientos básicos de desarrollo web (PHP y/o JavaScript, idealmente Vue.js). - Comprensión de estructuras de datos como JSON y XML (APIs e integraciones). - Conocimientos básicos/intermedios en bases de datos (consultas y ajustes simples). - Experiencia con herramientas no-code / low-code (ej.
