Azure Synapse, Power BI Developer

The AES Group

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to support large datasets and analytics workloads • Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and semantic models • Translate reporting and analytics needs into efficient technical solutions and visual outcomes • Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability across pipelines and reporting layers • Tune SQL queries, Synapse workloads, and Power BI models for performance and usability • Integrate data from cloud and on-premise sources into curated analytics layers • Follow data governance, security, and access best practices within Azure ecosystems

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years in data engineering, BI development, or analytics engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, data modeling, and report development
  • Advanced SQL with performance tuning and optimization experience
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or comparable orchestration/ETL tooling
  • Proven experience working with large-scale data environments
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization preferred
