Job Description

Professional Services Engineer

FIT Solutions, LLC

• Define project requirements, scopes, and deliverables. • Design, develop, and implement IT infrastructure, systems, and software solutions based on project requirements. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues that arise during the project lifecycle. • Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and user manuals. • Collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project. • Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs. • Recommends and/or analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used in the project. • Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors. • Oversees the progress of the development project. • Compares the actual cost of a development project to estimates. • Collaborates with the design group to change plans if problems arise. • Collaborates with other engineers to share problems and solutions. • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related fields.
  • Advanced experience supporting, deploying, configuring and best practice in Azure, AWS, SharePoint.
  • Advanced experience with server and networking hardware.
  • Advanced experience with supporting, deploying and configuring networking equipment, firewalls, switches.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9000 design requirements.
