Senior Human Resources Generalist

• Serve as a trusted employee advocate and employee relations expert, coaching and guiding leaders and HR Generalists on complex employee relations matters. • Independently lead and resolve complex employee relations issues and investigations, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance. • Partner with leaders to provide advanced coaching and guidance related to hiring, performance management, corrective action, terminations, and organizational changes. • Act as a subject matter expert on HR processes, driving consistency across the HR team and identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and scalability. • Charter, scope, and lead HR projects and initiatives with executive sponsorship, driving work through to completion with measurable outcomes. • Navigate confidently across HR partner teams and the broader organizational matrix, connecting dots and leveraging stakeholders to solve problems. • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and lead change initiatives using a lean and change management mindset. • Create, facilitate, and enhance training programs for managers and associates, with a focus on capability building and change adoption. • Share data insights and trends with leaders and the HR team to inform thoughtful, data-driven business decisions. • Support job architecture activities including job descriptions and compensation analysis, connecting recommendations to business and financial levers. • Assist with EEOC, DOL, and other employment-related claims, serving as a knowledgeable resource for documentation and response strategy. • Facilitate and improve core HR processes such as performance reviews, merit cycles, and promotions, ensuring accuracy and alignment to business goals. • Partner on OSHA and safety initiatives, providing guidance and oversight for assigned regions. • Serve as a primary HR point of contact for a large employee population, while supporting and mentoring HR Generalists. • Participate in and lead special projects and initiatives across the People Team. • Other work related duties as assigned. • Travel up to 10%

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • 3+ years of hands-on employee relations experience, including investigations
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect HR initiatives to business and financial outcomes
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and independently manage complex workloads
  • Ability to produce accurate, timely work with minimal supervision.
