ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following): - Processes Reverse Mortgage loans - Works to determine product suitability; communicates changes to TC - Compiles financial and other needed data to complete loan file - Evaluates loan applications for reasonableness and, if needed, escalates files for further evaluation - Communicates with Reverse Transaction Coordinator to obtain missing documentation - Reviews files for completeness prior to submission to Underwriting - Obtains documentation needed to clear conditions, if required - Submits approved files to Closing - Prioritizes workflow so loans close on time - Communicates with title company, appraiser, and other vendors as required - Provides excellent customer service to borrower, loan officer, vendors, and other interested parties - Prepares and sends approval - Records data on the status of loans, including number of new applications and loans approved, cancelled or denied REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this job.) - 2-5 years reverse processing experience. - Solid knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices. - Extensive knowledge and understanding of HECM loan program. - Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending processes, procedures, and regulations. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Demonstrated experience effectively managing relationships with internal and external partners. - Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data. - Demonstrated experience researching information, problem solving and making solid business decisions. - Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment. - Demonstrated experience with MS Office products. PREFERRED EDUCATION - High School or GED PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - This position is remote, on-site preferred but not required. The expected salary range for this position is between: $53,300.00 - $76,200.00The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
