We are looking for an experienced ABAP Developer to support SAP-related activities within a Data & Analytics (D&A) project. The role focuses on enabling data extraction and modeling from SAP systems, supporting analytical use cases, and contributing to the development of custom CDS-based data solutions in SAP environments. Requirements - Hands-on ABAP development experience in SAP environments - Strong experience in developing custom CDS views on SAP HANA - Good understanding of SAP DataSphere, BDC, and SAP data architecture - Experience supporting data extraction into platforms such as Azure and SAP BW/4HANA - Ability to work with and extend standard SAP CDS views for reporting and extraction purposes - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience in debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization in SAP systems - Ability to translate business/data requirements into technical SAP solutions - Experience preparing technical documentation for data models and integrations - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams Responsibilities - Develop and maintain custom ABAP solutions supporting SAP DataSphere and BDC-related data initiatives - Design and implement custom CDS views on SAP HANA for data extraction and reporting purposes - Support data extraction processes from SAP systems into analytical platforms (e.g., Azure, BW/4HANA, SAP DataSphere) - Work closely with technical and data teams to identify and utilize standard CDS views for data provisioning - Contribute to the development of analytical applications and data models within SAP ecosystems - Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues in SAP data flows - Implement performance tuning and bug fixes for existing ABAP and CDS-based solutions - Provide technical documentation for SAP-based data models, extraction logic, and integrations - Support the team with all SAP-related activities within the Data & Analytics project lifecycle What we offer - Flexible work arrangements. - 20 working days per year as Non-Operational Allowance for personal recreation, fully compensated. - Collaborative and supportive team culture. - Truly competitive salary. - Supportive HR and management team.
