This position reports to: Service Manager __ In this role, you will oversee the delivery of service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements within our North American region. Reporting to the North American Mining & Material Service Manager you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the customer orders. The work model for the role is: #LI-Remote in the Western US. Your Role and Responsibilities: - Monitoring customer service orders to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) - Analyzing and addressing project risks, and regularly disseminating lessons learned - Working with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers - Prepare quotes and implement contract changes based on customer requests. - Achieving service order deliverables and compliance with contract requirements - Coordinate project team effort including engineering, testing, site work activities and sub-contractors. Qualifications for the Role: - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering highly preferred or equivalent work experience. - 5+ years’ experience managing industrial control systems and electrical apparatus projects; Experience in industrial and/or utilities markets is required. - Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, financial analysis, schedules and vendors/subcontractors. - Collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills - Project Management PMP designation is desired. - Fluent in English. French communication skills as an asset. - Strong computer skills – SAP or other ERP and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project). What’s in it for you?
