YOUR ROLE: We are looking for a candidate who would be responsible for processing complex transactions, resolving complex process related issues, preparation and finalization of the period and close activities and reporting (including the interactions with Client’s Financial Controllers) and performing and reviewing the reconciliations. The candidate will manage team of individuals and support them in the daily activities as well as in their development and manage the Client relationship, usually on the local country level. In this role you will play a key role in: - Reviewing and approving of General Ledger Journals, Accruals, Provisions, Allocations and other entries according to the schedule and agreed Client Desktop Procedures - Initiation of accounting entries based on the non-standard events and accounting rules not directly described in the Desktop Procedures, but resulting from other Policies and Accounting Manuals - Reviewing of fixed asset related entries, based on the requests and according to schedule and agreed Client Desktop Procedures - Monitoring fixed assets related transactions and budgets and contacting the fixed asset owners to initiate the fixed asset capitalization - Reviewing bank statements reconciliations, as well as balances on the sub bank accounts - Monitoring the status of Intercompany reconciliations and agreement of Intercompany balances with counterparties YOUR PROFILE: - Monitoring the status of Intercompany netting / settlements - Preparation and execution of Period End Close related activities according to agreed timetable and procedures - Monitoring of Period End Close progress, interacting (and escalating if required) with Client’s Finance Controllers or Process Owners to ensure timely closure and reporting - Preparation of Period End Reporting packs (i.e. Trial Balance review) and its review and sign off with Clients Financial Controllers - Reconciliation of medium / high risk balance sheet accounts and review of low/medium risk reconciliations - Review of operational reports from the area of expertise and adding the analytical insights to it.
