Role Description Join us in this incredible work and be a miracle to someone today. Arizona Families F.I.R.S.T. (Families in Recovery Succeeding Together- AFF) helps parents address substance abuse issues that are affecting their ability to care appropriately for their children or to get and keep a job. It provides the opportunity for families to overcome the barrier of substance abuse to reach the outcomes of permanency for children, family reunification and self-sufficiency. The goal of the program is to reduce or eliminate abuse of and dependence on alcohol and other drugs and to address other adverse conditions related to substance abuse. The Substance Abuse Case Coordinator serves individuals referred to Catholic Charities’ Arizona Families F.I.R.S.T. program (Families in Recovery Succeeding Together – “AFF”) which supports parents address substance abuse issues that are affecting their ability to care appropriately for their children. For clients in the JOBS program, it will assist clients to get and keep a job. Responsible for providing comprehensive case management including leading groups in discussion to assist families in overcoming the barriers of substance abuse to reach permanency for children, family reunification and self-sufficiency. This position is a telecommuter position. Qualifications - Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. - At least 3 years of related experience including working with multi-problem families in the field of substance abuse, child welfare, or behavioral health. - An Associate’s degree in a human service or behavioral health-related area of study preferred. Requirements - Knowledge and understanding of human behavior, social work theories and techniques as well as community resources. - Counseling, interviewing assessment, therapeutic relationship skills. - Flexibility and ability to work with the uniqueness of each client. - Sensitivity to cultural differences within the agency and community. - Fluency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word & Outlook). - Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, sit on the floor and ambulate over uneven floor surfaces including stairs and steps. - Ability to visually and auditory assess and interact with clients to ensure their safety and wellbeing. - Considerable work outside of the office and substantial driving; requires evening and weekend work on occasion and willingness to be on-call for emergencies. - May lift up to 25 pounds. - Valid AZ driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to show proof of registration/insurance. - Level One Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain fingerprint clearance; must maintain clearance. - Must be 21 years of age or older to drive on behalf of Catholic Charities. This position is the primary liaison between the Customs & Global Trade pre-clearance team and internal / external stakeholders including but not limited to Merchandising, Product Development, Product Compliance, Vendors, Factories, Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, Legal Counsel, Ship Centers, etc. This role is hybrid out of our WowTown headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Pre-Clearance: Maximized Value & Ready for Import - Maintains knowledge and expertise in global trade rules, regulations, industry trends to communicate to leadership to support department strategy, vision, and growth - Oversees all relevant import requirements are adhered to with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agency (PGA) regulations, appropriate tariff classification(s), ADD/CVD determination, valuation and duty breakdown, country of origin identification, IPR requirements, etc. - Manages collaboration with vendors, factories, agents to ensure product import readiness. - Develops KPI reporting metrics for the business, escalates non-compliances, and communicates area to leadership to provide visibility, mitigate risk, avoid fines, and avoid penalties. - Partners with key merchandising stakeholders such as Product Development and Merchant teams to maximize value in supply chain. - Oversees updates to internal documentation on tariff engineering and country diversification to share with merchant and PD teams to support compliance and cost saving opportunities. - Demonstrate continuous improvement through supporting supply chain initiatives associated with process management, systems/GTM implementation, and other automated solutions. - Develops, maintains, and communicates processes as necessary with internal and external stakeholders. - Manage participation and compliance with CTPAT program to ensure all minimum-security criteria are met. - Partners with Director, Customs & Global Trade on CTPAT internal stakeholder meetings, annual security profile submission preparation, validation preparation, etc. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Deep knowledge of CBP regulations, PGA requirements, valuation, classification, and country of origin. - Experience with Trade Programs including FTZ and CTPAT programs. - Solid background with product classification under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, including experience with PGAs and sets/kits.
