Role Description The Agency Instructor I, under direction, will assist in training various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within a specified program. Responsibilities include: - Utilizing knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success. - Performing online and/or classroom instruction, field-based skills training, and providing technical assistance in a specialty area. - Using a variety of media to present course material. - Assisting in creating new and/or updating curriculum content to meet learner needs. - Maintaining technical competence and skills. The instructor will report to the Training Coordinator/Manager and must reside in Texas Region 3. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Three years of experience in the operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems. - One year of experience in training adults, which may include on-the-job training. - Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment. - Texas Class "B" Water license. - Texas Class "B" Wastewater license, or Wastewater Collection II or III. - TCEQ Sponsor Requirements: - 60 hours of classroom instructional experience OR - Completion of approved Instructor training courses in: - Methods of Teaching OR Effective Instructional Techniques - Instructional Design and Evaluation OR Organizational and Use of Training Materials - Ability to attain within 6 months of employment. - Equivalency: Will consider an Associate’s Degree with five years of experience in the operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems OR a High School Diploma/GED with seven years of experience in the operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems. Summary The Advisor, Program Effectiveness – Cybersecurity Metrics & Reporting is a senior individual contributor focused on metrics, reporting, and program effectiveness across cybersecurity functions, with an initial emphasis on vulnerability management. This role designs and standardizes cybersecurity KPIs/KRIs, reporting models, and dashboards using ServiceNow (including VR), Tableau and/or Power BI, and other data sources.
