Department OverviewThe Video Embedded Software Engineering Team at Motorola Solutions (MSI) delivers firmware for embedded devices such as in-car video systems, fixed video and body worn cameras. Working in close collaboration with other departments, engineers in this team excel at developing applications and drivers under Linux, and have a variety of backgrounds and specializations. The team uses modern C++ to develop highly reusable code, and utilize state-of-the-art systems and tools throughout the development life cycle. Job Description - Perform End to End Test on NPI program at device as well as system level. - Perform first level of root-case analysis of problems to formulate and recommend improved alternative operations. - Work with the business and development team to formulate test strategy. - Translate requirements and specifications into manual/automated test cases. - Work with the engineering team to produce hypothesis and to reproduce and validate issues - Raise of all issues found during testing and to work with the Development and Integration Teams to track those issues until resolution - Incorporate Gen AI into Test environment/framework. Basic Requirements - Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) field , Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. - Fluent communication in English (written and verbal) is required. - Have knowledge of Test Methodology and apply the right Test Methodology for the given test scope - Having knowledge of Video Monitoring System, Client-Server Setup, Mobile Application Setup, Photography (Image Quality Knowledge) will be a plus - Basic programming language such as Python - Strong skills in problem analytical and systematic troubleshooting, with an understanding of customer impact. - Able to manage customer situations effectively and setting customer expectations appropriately. - Good knowledge in PC skills. - Prefer local candidates, as the position requires to be on-site - Having Certified Tester Foundation Level is a bonus - Having Agile Methodology & Gen AI is a plus Travel RequirementsNone Relocation ProvidedNone Position TypeExperienced Referral Payment PlanNoEEO Statement Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
