• Manage all activities related to the design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and technology solutions • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Software Development team • Manage workload distribution, sprint planning, performance expectations, and career development • Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and adherence to enterprise SDLC standards • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle • Ensure development teams follow secure coding practices, peer code review standards, Git workflows and unit testing expectations • Drive the development of robust, scalable, secure, and easy-to-use web-based and API-driven applications • Oversee API-driven architecture and RESTful service development • Lead system integration design efforts including APIs, microservices, and service components • Champion API-first design and reusable service patterns • Identify and execute efficiency gains, technical debt reduction opportunities, and modernization initiatives • Maintain strong relationships across Technology and business units • Provide technical leadership and consultation to business partners
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- A minimum of seven (7) years of software development experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of study (preferred)
- Five (5) years of software development management experience (preferred)
- Software Development or Agile Certifications (preferred)
