The Role At Edged, CAPEX projects are the engine of our growth. The Procurement Operations Lead (CAPEX) plays a critical role in ensuring that our data center builds are executed seamlessly from contract to delivery. This role owns the end-to-end procurement execution lifecycle—bridging Sourcing, Legal, Finance, and Construction—to ensure that every contract, purchase order, and vendor engagement is accurate, compliant, and aligned to budget and schedule. You will serve as the operational backbone of CAPEX procurement, ensuring that deals move from negotiation to execution without friction, risk, or delay. Key Responsibilities Procurement Execution & Contract Management - Own the full lifecycle of CAPEX procurement documentation, including MSAs, SOWs, Work Orders, and Purchase Orders - Partner closely with Legal to manage contract redlines, approvals, and execution workflows - Ensure consistent use of Edged-standard templates, commercial terms, and risk controls - Identify and resolve discrepancies across contracts, scopes, and commercial terms prior to execution Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Ownership - Lead the Procure-to-Pay process for all major construction and infrastructure projects - Issue and manage Purchase Orders and Work Orders, ensuring alignment with: - Negotiated commercial terms - Budget approvals - Tax and compliance requirements - Maintain accuracy across procurement systems and ensure audit-ready documentation Cross-Functional Alignment - Act as the central coordination point between Sourcing, Legal, Finance, and Construction - Ensure all required approvals, budget visibility, and compliance checks are completed before PO release - Drive operational clarity and accountability across stakeholders to keep projects moving at speed Vendor Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure all vendors meet insurance (COI), safety, and contractual compliance requirements prior to work commencement - Monitor and enforce Not-to-Exceed (NTE) values and contractual controls to prevent cost overruns - Proactively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks across projects Delivery Tracking & Reporting - Own and maintain the master delivery tracker for long-lead equipment and critical vendors - Track and report on: - Lead times - On-time delivery (OTD) - Vendor performance metrics - Provide early visibility into risks, enabling proactive mitigation by Sourcing and Construction teams Process Optimization & Scale - Continuously improve procurement workflows, tools, and documentation standards - Support the development of a scalable procurement operating model to match Edged’s rapid growth - Drive standardization across projects, vendors, and regions What You Bring Core Capabilities - Exceptional attention to detail and process discipline—you understand that precision in procurement prevents downstream delays - Strong understanding of contract structures (MSA, SOW, WO, PO) and how they interrelate - Ability to operate as a cross-functional integrator, aligning multiple stakeholders toward execution - Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a bias for action in fast-paced environments Technical & Systems Experience - Experience working within procurement and financial systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) - Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and digital signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign) - Strong working knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes, controls, and compliance requirements Experience & Background - 5+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Contract Administration, or similar roles - Direct experience supporting high-value CAPEX projects in: - Data centers - Construction - Infrastructure - Energy or utilities environments - Proven track record of managing complex procurement workflows at scale #LI‑DNI EEO Statement: Edged is an equal opportunities employer. The opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Procurement Third-Party Risk Analyst to manage our vendor risk assessment lifecycle. As a critical part of the Procurement team, you will ensure that all third-party engagements align with our corporate standards for privacy, compliance, and sustainability.
