Job Description

Senior Cloud Database Administrator, IVR & Analytics Platform

Miratech

• Administer Amazon Aurora MySQL (OLTP) and Amazon Redshift (OLAP) • Manage full lifecycle: provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades • Ensure high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster resilience • Configure alerts, logging, and proactive health checks • Monitor and optimize performance for high-throughput transactional workloads and ETL and analytics queries • Support production databases with on-call / incident response • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes • Troubleshoot performance and data issues • Manage user roles, permissions, and RBAC • Ensure compliance with data security and audit requirements • Support databases used by application services, ETL pipelines, reporting and BI tools • Collaborate with engineering teams on schema and data design • Work with DevOps teams on infrastructure changes and deployments • Automate operational tasks using scripting and IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation)

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud DBA / Database Administrator
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora MySQL, Amazon Redshift
  • Strong hands-on AWS experience with cloud databases
  • Strong knowledge of high availability, backup & recovery
  • Strong knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring and alerting
  • Experience with Linux / Unix and shell scripting
  • Experience supporting high-volume, mission-critical systems
  • Hands‑on experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Readiness to participate in on‑call support for production databases
  • Nice to Have: Experience in IVR / contact center environments
  • Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehousing
  • Experience with event-driven or analytics-heavy systems
