Senior Python Engineer – Backend, Data

Space Inch

• Consolidate critical trading data from multiple disparate sources into a centralized, queryable database. • Design and implement data pipelines and orchestration workflows to automate data ingestion and processing. • Enable the client’s team to track position changes across daily, weekly, and monthly intervals with accuracy and speed. • Propose and implement a database strategy using a lower-level database as the primary aggregation layer, with reporting published to Snowflake. • Ensure data auditability and observability, with clear traceability for how each data point is created. • Identify and surface additional data opportunities as the project matures, helping the client understand the broader potential of their data.

Job Requirements

  • Strong senior level proficiency in Python and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Strong senior level proficiency in MongoDB and Snowflake
  • Previous high-level knowledge of processing Excel files/CSVs
  • Proven experience in handling data: aggregation, modelling, pipeline development, and data reliability.
  • Experience with data orchestration frameworks (e.g. Apache Airflow or similar).
  • Comfortable working with data warehouses and large, complex datasets.
  • Must be based in Brazil
  • Client team is based in California, so appropriate working hours to accommodate a decent level of overlap are expected

The Lead Drupal Developer will serve as both technical architect and hands-on engineering lead, ensuring secure, scalable, high-performing digital infrastructure aligned with federal compliance standards. Position Overview RIVA Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Drupal Developer to drive technical leadership for an enterprise federal Drupal platform undergoing large-scale modernization and migration. This role requires deep experience executing complex, high-volume Drupal migrations from legacy systems into cloud-based enterprise environments. The ideal candidate has led migrations involving tens of thousands of pages and terabytes of structured and unstructured content while remaining actively engaged in hands-on development. This is not an oversight-only leadership role. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable defining enterprise architecture, building custom migration plugins, writing code, troubleshooting integration challenges, and mentoring development teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated federal environment.
