Bookkeeper

• Collaborate with brokers to analyze client financial information and structure loan applications. • Provide expert guidance on lender policies to ensure compliance and optimal loan structuring. • Prepare comprehensive credit submissions for a variety of lending scenarios, including PAYG, self-employed, SMSF and trust structures. • Liaise with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify financial details. • Liaise with lenders to meet lending guidelines and requirements, to ensure successful client outcomes. • Review applications for compliance with lending criteria and regulatory requirements; • Stay updated on industry trends, lending products, and regulatory changes.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a similar industry.
- Experience handling New Zealand or Australian accounts is required
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, SAP, etc.).
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Comfort with numbers and basic calculations.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies.
