System Analyst, Forex

FP Markets (First Prudential Markets)

• Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements from stakeholders • Develop detailed system designs and specifications that align with business needs and technical standards • Design, develop, and maintain APIs for system integration, ensuring they meet performance and security standards • Determine how specific tasks should be distributed among microservices • Develop integration strategies and solutions to ensure seamless interaction between front-end and back-end systems • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices • Write detailed acceptance tests for each task, ensuring developers understand the tests they must implement • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, architectures, and technical processes

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a System Analyst. Required sector is forex market, trading platforms, plugins for platforms, copy solutions, etc.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, including forex
  • Understanding of the architecture and operation of financial IT systems
  • Experience with SQL databases and knowledge of relational and non-relational database principles
  • Proficiency in modeling and prototyping tools (e.g., Visio, Miro)
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp new systems and technologies, translating business needs into technical requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, persistence
  • Proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Proficiency in English

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing front-end functional testing and back-end database validation, ensuring that delivered system enhancements, integrations, and configurations meet business requirements and quality standards. Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements. • Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support operational and executive decision-making. • Write complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data from back-end databases and tables. • Support system integrations, data mappings, and process improvements within Momentum and connected platforms. • Participate in testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Ensure solutions align with federal compliance, security, and data governance standards, especially within VA environments. • Create and maintain technical and functional documentation. Qualifications: Required: • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role. • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Momentum or other ERP Solutions (financials, budgeting, or related modules). • Strong experience building Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling and DAX. • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including querying back-end tables, joins, stored procedures, and data validation. • Experience working in federal government environments or regulated industries. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
