The candidate will join a software development team to implement challenging IT software projects, for major international public organisations. The candidate will receive training and support to develop its career expectations. What you'll do: - Develop excellent quality web and back-end software, using state-of-the-art software development techniques and technologies; - Participate and contribute in software architecture design; - Work in a multi-national environment.

• Implement multi-tier scalable SaaS architectures • Design and consume RESTful web service APIs via microservices • Debug and troubleshoot existing codebase • Deploy to and manage apps in the cloud

• Lead a squad of engineers, collaborate closely with product owners, and apply best practices to build scalable, high-performing applications. • Drive the architectural vision and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. • Mentor team members and maintain a strong engineering culture. • Contribute hands-on to development tasks: back-end microservices in Java and Kotlin, Angular front-end, containerized deployments. • Continuously improve systems design, code quality, and team efficiency.

• Contributing to the planning, execution, and completion of backend development tasks, ensuring delivery is timely and meets quality standards. • Developing and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable backend services as part of technical projects. • Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and operation of backend solutions. • Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and supporting team communication to foster a collaborative development environment. • Applying best practices in software development, encouraging improvements, and working closely with product and frontend teams to deliver user-centric, efficient solutions. • Building and deploying cloud-native backend applications using GitLab CI/CD pipelines to AWS or similar platforms, aligning with team and organizational strategies. • Engaging with cross-team initiatives and contributing to broader engineering goals, such as participation in working groups or communities, to create a positive impact beyond your immediate team.
