Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst
Decision Foundry
• Analyze business processes and user requirements to design and configure Salesforce solutions that align with organizational goals. • Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Salesforce Sales Cloud Unlimited Edition, ensuring a robust data foundation for sales and customer data. • Integrate and utilize Agent force for Sales to automate research, personalize messaging, and provide real-time deal guidance, enhancing seller productivity. • Manage the Sales Performance Management Suite, including Salesforce Spiff for commission automation, Sales Planning for territory and quota optimization, Salesforce Maps for route and territory visualization, and Sales Programs for campaign tracking. • Implement and maintain Data Cloud to activate real-time insights, powering Customer 360 apps and Agentforce while integrating with existing data investments. • Utilize Salesforce Foundations to access AI capabilities in Agentforce, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Data Cloud at no additional cost. • Conduct user training, create documentation, and provide ongoing support for Salesforce users. • Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, perform system audits, and ensure compliance with best practices. • Participate in demos and proof-of-concepts for new Salesforce features and integrations. • Supports user stories focused on configuring package software or performing other highly technical tasks for the agile team. • Provides highly specialized technical skills according to the specific needs of stories during each iteration. • Reviews required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, service, and business teams. • Provides mentorship to junior FAs and BAs through Community of Practice and other informal forums and may supervise FAs in a team that does not have senior developers or a tech lead. • Lead functional analysis for the domain/software related to Mergers & Acquisitions & Foldouts. • Lead functional analysis for domain/software RFP process. • Lead SME around product(s) function and works with Product Owner and Business Partners to refine requirements/functionality. • Lead training of software package to key stakeholders as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field with 5+ years of experience in configuration of software packages or application development is a nice to have, not required for a Sr Functional Analyst.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or equivalent are required; additional certifications in Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Data Cloud are a plus.
- Salesforce Foundations: Leveraging free AI and core features across Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, and Data Clouds.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, data modeling, workflow automation, and integration with third-party tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience in agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, standard connectors, and custom middleware.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configurations (user set up, role set up, hierarchies, profile set up, sharing rules, etc.)
- Salesforce Enterprise Territory Management (ETM) highly preferred.
- Highly proficient in teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Hands-on experience with all of the following Salesforce products and features:
- Sales Cloud Unlimited Edition: Building data foundations, predictive AI, automation, sandboxes, and Premier Success.
- Agentforce for Sales: Automating research, creating personalized messages, real-time deal guidance, and agent skills.
- Sales Performance Management Suite: Comprehensive knowledge of bundled tools for data-driven sales performance.
- Sales Planning: Territory optimization, quota management, scenario modeling, and real-time adjustments.
- Salesforce Maps: Visualizing accounts/opportunities, route optimization, and territory coverage.
- Sales Programs: Launching and tracking promotions, campaigns, and high-impact initiatives, data lakes/warehouses. Hands-on experience with all of the following Salesforce products and features.
