• Analyze monthly reporting from Business Units • Monitor, consolidate and analyze monthly Business Unit performance using management accounting • Contribute to the analysis of operational entities’ performance against their targets • Participate in the preparation of the budgeting process • Develop and deploy budget construction tools to support managers • Be proactive: identify improvements to the department’s processes and tools • Validate major laboratory investments in line with the budget • Assist in preparing funding requests to the group • Provide daily support to operational teams and respond to their various requests

• Own and run the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency • Oversee general ledger, revenue recognition (ASC 606), payroll, AP/AR, accruals, and reconciliations • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reporting • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and PE reporting requirements • Manage and optimize accounting processes within Sage Intacct, including system improvements and automation • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and tax advisors • Support budgeting and forecasting • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team (as applicable) • Support international accounting operations, including multi-entity, multi-currency environments (if applicable) • Assist with M&A integration, system conversions, and process scaling as the business grows

• SaaS Finance Engine: You oversee our subscription management tool (Chargebee) and ensure that recurring revenue is recorded correctly. • Financial Reporting: You prepare the monthly reporting for our shareholders and compile the relevant KPIs (MRR, churn, CAC). • Planning & Budgeting: Together with the CEO you prepare the annual budget and monitor its adherence (forecast vs. actual comparisons & ongoing monitoring). • Accounting Interface: You manage ongoing financial accounting and act as the liaison to our tax advisor/accountant. • Cost & Cash Control: You are responsible for cost management, optimize our expenditures, and oversee efficient dunning/collections.
