IT Infrastructure Specialist

• Align infrastructure providers with internal IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment with business and country-specific requirements. • Review SLAs, KPIs, and service reports; proactively challenge incidents, recurring problems, performance bottlenecks, and capacity gaps. • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives, ensuring measurable outcomes rather than passive acceptance of vendor reporting. • Contribute to infrastructure strategy and roadmap (cloud, on-prem, hybrid), including standardization across countries and lifecycle planning (hardware, OS, platforms). • Review, communicate, and approve major infrastructure changes; ensure proper risk assessments, rollback plans, and coordination for business-critical systems. • Define and own monitoring and observability standards; ensure effective alerting (minimal noise, no blind spots) and end-to-end visibility across infrastructure and applications. • Validate monitoring coverage across all regions and systems; drive improvements toward proactive issue detection and prevention. • Support security and operational resilience by ensuring patching compliance, backup and disaster recovery processes, while optimizing capacity, cost efficiency, and license usage.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in infrastructure-focused roles within IT operations or service delivery or similar, with responsibility for service stability and operational quality.
  • Strong experience of Azure cloud platform.
  • Managing and administering Office 365 environment.
  • Understanding of networking, servers, virtualization, VMware.
  • Understanding of IT operational procedures.
  • Experience managing and working with external infrastructure vendors.
  • Ability to challenge external providers (not just accept).
  • Good communication with IT and business stakeholders.
  • ITIL v4 mindset.
