People Analytics Business Partner

Avalara

O que você fará Based remotely in Brazil and reporting to a US based Manager, you will enable the HR team to use data to make informed decisions. You will partner with engineering to integrate and maintain people data across systems, collaborating with both HR stakeholders and technical teams. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran. You will also implement and optimize ELT processes to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and ready for use. Quais serão as suas responsabilidades On a daily basis, you will build, monitor, and improve data pipelines to ensure people data is reliable, accessible, and ready for analysis. You will troubleshoot data issues to minimize impact on HR operations, work with engineering to integrate data across systems, and handle all data following governance and privacy standards that you will ensure. You will develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support reporting and analytics, while protecting data quality and integrity across HR platforms. Alongside this, you will document processes, enable HR team members through technical support and training, and strengthen data infrastructure to improve performance and scalability. O que precisa possuir para ser bem sucedido - You have experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. - You have documentation skills, ensuring models are understandable and maintainable by all stakeholders. - You have proficiency in SQL and deep experience with modern data stack tools (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and GitLab). - You can translate requirements into data models. - You have experience with ELT processes and data pipeline development. - You have knowledge of data security and privacy regulations and have implemented techniques such as row level security or data masking to keep data safe. - You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - You have experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, RaaS. - Plus if you have experience with Workday, ICIMS, Workramp, Gallup, Espresa, Adaptive, or Salesforce. - Plus if you have experience with Power BI, data marts within Power BI. - Plus if you have experience using a scripting language such as Python to automate ELT processes. #LI-Remote A Avalara é uma empresa AI-first AI is embedded in our workflows, decision-making, and products. Maintains and improves tracking systems for procurement, grant administration, deliverables, and reporting cycles. Identifies documentation gaps, tracking inconsistencies, or operational risks and escalates issues appropriately. Supports audit preparation, monitoring activities, and structured program governance processes within compliance-driven environments.
