Role Description As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Swift, your job will be to book meetings. You’ll be the first “hunter” on the team - relentlessly finding and chasing new leads to help them learn how Swift can help their business. Reaching out, qualifying, and booking demos is the crux of the job. Creativity is king when it comes to outbound. Beyond the traditional channels (call, text, email), this role requires hustle and creativity when leads are hard to reach. IG DM? TikTok? In-person visit? For the right fit, it should all be on the table. We need you to break through the noise of AI-generated slop with clear, human-led messaging. Fit matters to us. While Swift is a great option for many businesses, it’s not for everyone. Success in this role is booking qualified demos, not filling the pipeline with bad leads that drain our AE’s bandwidth. You’ll be armed with a clear definition of our ICP to make this happen. As the first outbound role at Swift, you’ll also play a foundational role in setting up the system for future SDR hires. Figuring out new and ambiguous problems (i.e how to set up Instantly for cold email, figuring out which lead enrichment tool to use, etc) should excite you. We’re looking for someone who’s confident, curious, kind, and enthusiastic—someone who can thrive in a startup environment with limited processes, and who can take initiative, adapt quickly, and bring energy to their work. If you’re excited by the idea of being the first SDR hire at a fast-growing startup, we’d love to hear from you! Qualifications - You’re confident, energetic, humble, kind, and curious. - You have strong communication skills and are comfortable speaking with prospects over phone and video calls. - You’re fearless with cold outreach - in-person visits, cold calls, texts, emails don’t phase you at all. - Preferably have 1+ years of experience in an SDR/BDR role, ideally within a tech company (bonus points for B2B SaaS and/or selling software to SMBs). - You’re excited by the idea of joining a fast-growing early-stage startup with a role that can evolve as the company grows. Responsibilities - Source new leads for Swift and find any way to get in touch so you can qualify them, and book demos with our Account Executives (AEs). - Collaborate with the AEs at Swift to ensure there’s a constant stream of qualified leads flowing through the pipeline. - Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to share insights, customer feedback, and ideas to improve our sales process and product offerings. - Stay updated on Swift’s features and developments, becoming an expert on the platform to better serve and qualify customers. Benefits - A flexible, remote-first work environment. - The chance to be an early member of a fast-growing SaaS startup. - A complete behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to grow an early-staged company, invaluable experience if you’re looking to start your own business one day. - Starting salary of $55k base ($80-90k OTE) + equity.
