• Support, optimization and continuous development of complex network infrastructures in UMB AG's virtual private cloud (UMB Cloud). • Independent analysis and resolution of network incidents (network troubleshooting). • Participation in the general operation of the UMB Cloud (handling incidents and implementing changes). • Contributing to the strategy, design and architecture of the UMB Cloud's network infrastructure.

Job Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship or degree in computer science/IT.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a network engineer in an MSP or enterprise environment.
  • Solid expertise in perimeter security, routing & switching, VPN, TCP/IP and WLAN.
  • Experience, training and certifications from Cisco and HPE/Juniper.
  • Knowledge of VMware, Linux and Windows servers is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and good English.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duty, including nights and weekends.
