Job Description

Senior HRIS Analyst

GDS Group

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Payroll, including payroll processing, balances, costing, taxes, garnishments, payment methods, and integrations • Support end-to-end payroll cycles, including pre-payroll validation, post-payroll reconciliation, audits, and issue resolution • Diagnose and resolve payroll calculation, retro pay, costing, and integration issues in partnership with Finance and third-party vendors • Configure payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, eligibility profiles, and related payroll objects • Configure and support Oracle HCM Cloud modules closely aligned to payroll, including Core HR, Time and Labor, and Absence • Build and maintain system configurations to support acquisitions, organizational changes, quarterly updates, and new feature adoption • Develop and maintain process flows, data flows, and documentation for current and future-state solutions • Support security configuration and role-based access as needed • Design and support payroll and HR reporting using OTBI and BI Publisher • Troubleshoot and support inbound and outbound integrations related to payroll and HR data • Utilize HDL/HSDL to load, maintain, and correct employee and payroll-related data • Lead and execute system testing efforts, including unit testing, regression testing, and support of user acceptance testing (UAT) • Coordinate and support Oracle quarterly release testing, including impact analysis and validation of payroll-related changes • Support change management and promotion of configurations across environments with appropriate documentation and approvals • Act as a trusted partner to Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT teams, translating business requirements into scalable system solutions • Serve as a liaison between functional stakeholders and technical resources, including managed service providers and Oracle support • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience, with at least 3 years focused on Oracle Fusion Payroll
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Payroll
  • Experience supporting payroll integrations with Finance, banks, and third-party vendors
  • Proficiency with OTBI and BI Publisher for payroll and HR reporting
  • Experience supporting system testing, releases, and production issues in a SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile or hybrid methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
