• Develop and review complex architectural designs • Produce and manage detailed shop drawings • Ensure design accuracy and compliance with Australian standards • Coordinate directly with manufacturers and suppliers • Prepare and review quotations and specifications • Translate design intent into build-ready documentation • Develop and manage detailed project schedules • Monitor timelines, deliverables, and dependencies • Manage pricing, cost tracking, and budget coordination • Handle project documentation and administrative requirements • Support procurement processes and supplier coordination • Maintain structured communication between stakeholders • Run all administrative support for the on-site Project Manager • Ensure documentation, updates, and reports are accurate and timely • Proactively identify risks, delays, or design conflicts • Maintain clear and professional communication across all parties
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in complex architectural design within Australia
- Strong background in high-end or technically detailed projects
- Strong understanding of Australian construction standards
- Ability to produce detailed shop drawings
- Experience dealing directly with manufacturers and suppliers
- Strong quoting and pricing experience
- Demonstrated experience running full project schedules
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in architectural design software (any major platform accepted)
- Strong project management systems experience
- Highly organised and detail-oriented

Manage and track construction costs against project budget; review, negotiate, and process change orders; participate in claims reviews (if applicable). Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. Manage project communications and documentation including RFIs, submittals, field directives, clarification letters, change orders, and progress payments, following Harris’ construction management practices.
