Game Developer
CoolGames
• Contribute to the entire lifecycle of HTML5 casual game development, from inception to live-ops and maintenance; • Facilitate the delivery of top-notch products and features; • Take responsibility for delivering high quality products; • Collaborate with game designers, game artists, quality assurance engineers, and fellow game developers; • Develop new titles and evolve existing games; • Contribute to maintenance and evolving internal tooling; • Manage time and productivity to deliver robust code while meeting established deadlines; • Perform optimisation, debugging, fixing bugs, and performing code reviews;
Job Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience programming professionally;
- Solid knowledge of development best practices;
- Strong collaborative mindset;
- Knows how to strike a balance between speed and quality;
- Estimations are consistently on point;
- Proactively communicates and mitigates technical risk;
- Understands the commercial reality of casual games;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices;
- Experience with version control tools like git;
- Experience with web game tech (e.g. PIXI/Phaser/Three.js);
- Experience with HTML5 games, Typescript and JavaScript is a plus;
