**Role Overview** The Role: We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead the end-to-end security strategy and implementation for the blockchain-based AI platform. This role requires deep expertise across cloud security, blockchain, Kubernetes, AI workloads, and secure software development practices. The Security Architect will be responsible for designing a comprehensive security architecture that spans infrastructure, application, data, and operations – ensuring the platform achieves enterprise-grade security, compliance, and resilience. **What You’ll Do** **Responsibilities:** - Architect and implement security frameworks across blockchain platforms, AI workloads, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure. - Define and own the security roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. - Establish identity and access management (IAM) strategies, including secrets management, VPN/identity solutions, and Zero Trust principles. - Establish trust boundaries and enforce appropriate controls, including workload isolation, access restrictions, and data protection measures. - Design and oversee cloud (AWS) security architecture and enforce least-privilege access. - Implement Kubernetes security controls, including Pod Security Standards, network segmentation, and workload isolation. - Lead the creation of incident response playbooks, monitoring dashboards, and alerting mechanisms for blockchain, AI, and cloud environments. - Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and threat modeling to validate platform resilience. - Collaborate with blockchain architects, AI engineers, DevOps, and business teams to ensure security is embedded across all phases of development and operations. - Stay current with emerging security standards, technologies, and threats in blockchain, AI, and cloud ecosystems.

• Develop and drive the cybersecurity strategy by defining security requirements, developing secure cloud architectures, and performing Information Assurance (IA) verification and audits. • Design and oversee the implementation of new security controls, processes and tools. • Lead the evaluation and use of security technologies and tools. • Develop, maintain and document configurations, policies and procedures. • Support the ongoing administration, design and user of network segmentation tools and underlying concepts for continuous risk reduction. • Identify security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans. • Develop and socialize secure coding guidelines and best practices. • Create project deliverable documentation, including design, build and operations guide. • Identify gaps and propose solutions to increase security efficiency and effectiveness. • Support development of testing and evaluation plans, including cyber test activities. • Act as a cybersecurity advisor for engineering teams, ensuring secure SDLC practices for enterprise applications. • Mentor teams on cybersecurity, fostering expertise in signaling security, secure protocol design, and network hardening.

• Conduct pre-voyage assessments including route evaluation, port risk reviews, and port entry/exit planning • Identify maritime hazards, piracy zones, trafficking areas, weather patterns, and navigation chokepoints • Communicate findings through secure channels and contribute to the vessel’s security plan • Maintain continuous watchstanding, situational awareness, and lookout duties • Execute low-profile protective surveillance while blending with vessel crew operations • Apply counter-surveillance techniques at sea and during port calls • Conduct vessel security drills, cabin and deck sweeps, and equipment checks • Support vessel hardening, perimeter control, and controlled access points • Enforce security protocols during embarkation, disembarkation, and small-craft transfers • Provide armed overwatch during high-risk transits or threat-identified routes • Maintain strict weapons discipline under maritime safety standards • Execute passive and active deterrence measures in alignment with international maritime regulations • Assist captain and crew with observation of navigational hazards, AIS monitoring, and VHF communications • Support maneuvering operations during harbor entry, anchoring, docking, or night operations • Maintain awareness of weather shifts, vessel traffic, and unexpected maritime conditions • Coordinate silently with UG Advanced Protection HQ, UGAP GSOC, vessel captain, and port authorities • Support emergency routing changes, diversion plans, rescue operations, or humanitarian evacuation movements • Provide initial emergency care and assist embedded medics when present • Complete detailed voyage security logs and incident reports • Provide concise post-transit summaries and after-action submissions to UG Advanced Protection leadership
