Senior Software Engineer
Akamai Technologies
• Supporting the development and maintenance of Armada as a core Cloud Observability platform (primarily in a DevOps capacity) • Designing and implementing scalable, reliable Kubernetes-based infrastructure solutions • Building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm • Automating operational workflows using Python and Bash • Ensuring system stability, performance, and security across observability services • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable new services and infrastructure orchestration use cases
Job Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional experience and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science-related field or equivalent education
- Gain practical experience with a primary cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure), understanding external cloud practices like cost optimization and cluster management.
- Have strong experience with Python, Bash, Linux, Terraform, and Helm
- Be proficient with Kubernetes (CKAD level or equivalent experience)
- Have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Demonstrate experience with GitHub Actions; familiarity with Golan is appreciated but not essential.

Senior Software Engineer, L3 Messaging Team
