• Produce SEO deliverables such as keyword research, content outlines, and performance reports • Conduct SEO analyses including technical audits, competitor analysis, and content research • Analyze organic performance data and surface actionable insights • Develop recommendations that align with client goals and SEO strategy • Maintain a high standard for accuracy, documentation, and adherence to internal processes • Prioritize tasks based on client strategy and project timelines • Support implementation of SEO initiatives across content, technical SEO, and on-page optimization • Collaborate with internal team members to prepare for client meetings and strategic planning • Participate in client calls and support follow-up actions and deliverables • Help maintain organized workflows and accurate time tracking • Stay up to date on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices • Experiment with AI tools and emerging technologies that improve SEO workflows • Contribute to internal initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team • Maintain and progress toward personal career development goals
Job Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within a digital marketing or SEO agency
- Demonstrated interest in SEO and search marketing
- Familiarity with SEO research and analysis workflows
- Experience using or experimenting with AI tools for research, content, or workflow optimization
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms

• Research and identify relevant websites and platforms for link placement • Secure backlinks through direct placements and outreach when necessary • Maintain structured tracking of all placements • Ensure links are relevant, high-quality, and aligned with SEO goals • Monitor relevant subreddits (accounting, e-commerce, QuickBooks, SaaS, etc.)
• Act as the architect for all organic content (blog, resource hubs, landing pages). • Define the editorial roadmap, target audiences, and search intent to ensure every piece of content drives qualified B2B traffic and pipeline. • Develop exhaustive creative briefs for cross-functional execution. • Optimise Yellow Card’s digital presence for Large Language Models (LLMs). • Develop entity-mapping strategies, knowledge graphs, and advanced structured data markup to position YC as the authoritative source for AI-generated search results (AI Overviews/Snapshots). • Audit, maintain, and scale the technical health of our global web properties to ensure they are compatible and optimised for search engine technologies and LLM agents. • Manage complex multi-regional site architectures and international SEO strategies across 34 emerging and established markets. • Serve as a subject matter expert, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to evolve the software systems and architectures needed to scale our acquisition engine. • Champion programmatic SEO and the use of automated workflows to generate, optimise, and audit high-impact content at scale. • Map the organic journey from initial search to CRM lead capture. • Navigate strict financial promotion regulations (FCA, MiCA, local African regulators) to ensure all content maintains impeccable E-E-A-T and regulatory safety.
• Managing day-to-day SEO campaigns for multiple clients, including local, on-site, off-site, and technical SEO. • Establishing KPIs and performance benchmarks, measuring success and providing strategic recommendations for ongoing growth. • Developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic. • Conducting keyword research and optimising website content, including blogs, landing pages, meta tags, URLs, and internal linking. • Performing technical SEO audits and implementing improvements (site speed, crawl errors, schema, mobile optimisation). • Optimising and managing local SEO for clients, including Google Business Profiles, citations, and local keyword targeting. • Providing regular reporting and insights to clients and internal teams. • Creating and optimising content for multiple clients’ websites, including blog posts, landing pages, and meta descriptions, ensuring alignment with the wider SEO strategy and target audience. • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving SEO performance issues through data-driven analysis and creative problem-solving. • Leading and mentoring junior SEO team members, providing training, guidance, and feedback to support their growth and development. • Identifying new growth opportunities, such as emerging search platforms, voice search, or AI-driven SEO tools. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. developers, designers, PPC, social media, and content teams) to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital marketing activities.
