Telecommunications Engineer

AXON Networks

• Provide expert support for AXON Networks product features. • Design, develop, and refine algorithms, including troubleshooting and bug fixing. • Drive innovation in managing access networks, setting the direction for next-generation software solutions for network access technologies. • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative products that meet the needs of global ISPs.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s in Telecommunications or related field (PhD is a plus).
  • Experience working on physical layer of communication systems.
  • Knowledge of communication systems and statistical processing.
  • Knowledge of copper (DSL), fiber (PON) or Wi-Fi technologies is desirable.
  • Experience in collection, tests definition, analysis, reporting of data, etc. in lab/production environments.
  • Experience with database languages such as SQL/mongodb.
  • Experience in control version systems, as GIT.
  • Experience in Java software development.
  • Experience in algorithm analysis.
  • Familiarity with Linux (as user) as well as programming in scripting languages like Python.
  • Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms.
  • Analytical Capabilities, Critical thinking, Problem solving, Eager to learn, and Proactive.
  • Planning and Organizational skills, Active listening, Communication skills.
  • Teamwork, autonomous.
