Job Description

Technical Project Manager – Automation

Vantage Data Centers

• support and facilitate the successful completion of projects for the Automation Systems group • manage and provide technical leadership regarding automation design, engineering, and construction interfacing • influence and develop consensus across teams at a regional level • understand system integration, project management, commissioning, and process execution • support pre-bid planning, coordination, and execution strategies to ensure quality design and engineering deliverables • lead automation project design activities • provide automation system technical guidance and issue mitigation throughout design, engineering, and commissioning activities • coordinate and support applicable FWT (Factory Witness Tests), and software bench testing and on-site point to for various projects

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Building Management System (BMS) design, integration, commissioning, or technical leadership
  • BS in related Engineering or Construction Management fields preferred but not required based upon experience level
  • PLC / SCADA Application Engineering experience preferred
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley and Ignition experience preferred
  • Data Center or Mission Critical project experience preferred but not required
  • Shown success in project management with PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Experience in instrumentation and controls (I&C) preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and MS SharePoint
  • Travel required is expected to be 25% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
