Role Description TuxCare is looking for a Staff Engineer to take absolute, end-to-end ownership of a Critical Logical Domain within our Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) Automation suite. In this role, you aren't just a senior coder; you are the technical and operational driver of your domain. - End-to-End Domain Orchestration: - Absolute Domain Ownership: You own the vision and the production code for your specific logical part of ELS. - Rapid Prototyping: Move from experiment to production-ready solution in days. - Smart Scaling: Identify where your domain needs to move to Public Cloud to solve scaling bottlenecks. - AI-Agentic Development: - Daily Orchestration: Use modern AI tools to orchestrate the entire SDLC. - Validation & Integrity: Act as the "Interception Layer" to validate AI outputs. - Product & Operational Leadership: - The "2-in-the-Box" Mindset: Act as the primary interface between business needs and shippable code. - Fighting Overhead: Drive outcomes through direct incident coordination and continuous observability. Qualifications - 8+ Years of "In the Trenches" Engineering: Recent, daily Python mastery. - Advanced AI Workflow: Proven system for using LLMs to speed up debugging, testing, and refactoring. - Linux & CI/CD Mastery: Solid fundamentals in Shell, networking, and packaging (RPM/DEB). - Product Owner Mindset: Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into a clear, prioritized roadmap. - Startup/Builder DNA: Track record of shipping projects or working in high-accountability environments. - Communication: Professional English, direct, and transparent communication style. Requirements - Ability to lead by example as an elite individual contributor. - Experience with orchestrating the SDLC using AI tools. - Capability to maintain your own runners and pipelines. - Ability to defend technical trade-offs to any stakeholder.
