Staff iOS Mobile Engineer, Swift

Wizard

• Build the foundation of Wizard’s native iOS app, defining architecture, frameworks, and best practices. • Architect, develop, and ship iOS apps and extensions that integrate with our AI-driven shopping platform using the latest iOS development practices (SwiftUI, MVVM, etc.) • Collaborate with AI, platform, and product teams to integrate AI-powered recommendations and personalization features. • Manage iOS provisioning, App Store deployment, and ongoing maintenance. • Write comprehensive technical documentation and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Job Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of iOS development experience with a strong portfolio of shipped production apps.
  • Expert in Swift and SwiftUI using the latest practices, with knowledge of Objective-C, Combine, UIKit, or other Apple technologies a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of iOS app architecture, asynchronous programming, performance optimization, and security best practices.
  • Experience with mobile app system design
  • Experience with full stack JavaScript/TypeScript (React; Node; Express/Koa) with production apps.
  • Expertise in SQL, relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL API design and consumption.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD, automated testing, Git/GitFlow, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience integrating AI/ML services into mobile apps is highly desirable.
  • Strong UX sensibility and ability to deliver user-friendly mobile/web experiences.
  • Comfortable mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and influencing technical direction.
  • Experience in high-growth startups or fast-moving product environments is a plus.
