Associate Director, Creative QA

DEPT®

• Strategic Oversight: Lead the QA process for a massive volume of global assets, ensuring every deliverable—regardless of language or format—meets the highest standards of visual, auditory, and brand consistency. • Brand Stewardship: Act as the ultimate authority on brand guidelines across multiple sub-brands, identifying subtle layout issues, stylistic inconsistencies, and brand drift. • Process Optimization: Refine and scale QA workflows to handle 60+ languages, verifying translated assets against source documents and project briefs with meticulous accuracy. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Managers and Creative Directors to navigate project lifecycles, troubleshoot delivery bottlenecks, and ensure 100% alignment with briefs. • Team Leadership: Stay at the forefront of QA best practices and industry tools, implementing new methodologies to improve speed-to-market without sacrificing quality.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Creative QA or a related production role (Agency experience is highly preferred).
  • Editorial Excellence: Mastery of AP grammar styles and a "hawk-eye" for proofreading.
  • Analytical Rigor: The ability to analyze complex project briefs and identify potential layout or technical issues before they reach the final delivery stage.
  • Communication Mastery: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to provide direct, actionable feedback to creative teams in a collaborative manner.
  • Adaptability: Proven success managing high-volume workloads and multiple workstreams simultaneously under rigorous deadlines.
  • Technical Savvy: High proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based storage systems (Dropbox/Drive).
  • Deep experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Expertise in Project Management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, or Jira).
  • A background in Performance Marketing, understanding the nuances of high-converting creative.
  • Cloud Storage: Dropbox, Google Drive.
  • Collaboration: Google Slides, Sheets, Docs.
  • Presentation: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
