• Act as a SME in Analytics Engineering, BI, and data domain to support enterprise business needs • Mentor and advise Analytics Engineering team members • Drive the design of highly complex data models and BI applications • Select appropriate data and BI tools and technologies to implement solutions • Leverage advanced experience in Analytics Engineering within an Agile team • Contribute to the management of a portfolio of programs • Support production processes and advise team on troubleshooting and resolutions • Train engineering teammates in coding, data modeling, and BI development best practices • Discuss and recommend advanced and innovative data and BI solutions • Explore and develop detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Preferred
  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Expert-level experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense, Looker, Tableau)
  • Cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, Google BigQuery)
  • Databases (e.g. Oracle)
  • Expert development experience in SQL required
  • Fully competent-level of Python development and data architecture experience preferred.

Role Description At Roo, the Growth team works alongside the VP of Data to define the objectives of our company initiatives and ensure we are able to measure their impact. The team has 4 major goals: - Prototyping new data-driven workflows designed to unlock growth. - Helping teams/initiatives/projects define and dashboard their North Star. - Helping teams/initiatives/projects run trusted experiments that attempt to improve a Roo Equation metric. - Helping teams identify interesting trends and perform deep dive analysis. We are data driven and focus on a first principles approach. The team is involved in the full lifecycle of major product initiatives: - Leveraging data to identify opportunities. - Co-leading initiatives. - Investigating and sizing them. - Facilitating measurement of the impact of our efforts. - Developing/maintaining dashboards to report on our progress. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Growth and while the role will operate on a remote basis, you will be required to occasionally be onsite in our San Francisco coworking space for meetings and team events. Your Responsibilities - Partner with the Product & Cross Functional Leads to set and monitor objectives and core metrics for all product initiatives. - Develop and maintain dashboards to help cross-functional teams and leadership monitor the progress of each independent workstream. - Partner with the Go To Market team to identify opportunities for and measure impact creation/improvement of “levers”. - Translate insights into a clear and effective execution direction for product teams. - Partner with the Product to investigate and size new opportunities. Qualifications - You have years of experience running ad hoc investigations on datasets using SQL, that lead to actionable insights. - You have a deep understanding of typical marketplace metrics and ecosystem dynamics. Role Description As a Measurement Specialist, you will play a critical role within our account teams, providing collaborative tier II support to accounts teams and clients needing assistance with measurement strategy, attribution excellence, and performance insights. You’ll be responsible for quantifying and communicating the value of Yelp’s advertising solutions, developing actionable measurement frameworks, and translating complex analytics into clear business insights that empower our clients and accelerate revenue growth. This individual contributor role partners closely with Enterprise Sales, Brand Sales, Campaign Directors, Product Marketing, and Product to help clients understand cross-channel performance and validate the impact of their media investments. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.
