CTG is looking for an experienced Test Analyst for one of our clients. Duties: - Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn technology of the assigned system functions. - Perform manual testing of web-based, front-end interface applications. - Write, review, and revise test cases and testing scenarios. - Execute test cases written by others. - Create test data for testing purposes. - Log and escalate incidents during test execution. - Document individual test results/incidents. - Write and review test summary reports. - Verify data setup to ensure proper testing. - Adhere to client and CTG procedures and guidance on testing processes. - Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve testing issues and incidents. - Escalate complex or global issues/roadblocks to the Test Lead. - Report test metrics to the Test Lead. - Utilize tools such as Adobe Standard, MS Word, SharePoint, MS Excel, Outlook, SQL, and JIRA. Skills: - Comprehension of test concepts, plans, cases, and issue tracking/resolution. - Accuracy in testing and delivering test documentation. - Strong analytical skills. - Strong time management and organizational skills. - Good documentation practices and adherence to protocols. Experience: - Previous experience in manual testing of web-based applications. - Familiarity with test concepts, test cases, and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM). - Experience using tools like MS Excel, MS Word, and SharePoint. Education: - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Additional Qualifications: - ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a nice-to-have.
