IT Testing Engineer III
Conduent
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate application functionality • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure system quality and reliability • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues • Write SQL queries to validate data accuracy and support troubleshooting efforts • Review application logs and debugging information to identify root causes of issues • Work within Linux environments and utilize shell scripting when needed • Support automation efforts using industry standard testing tools • Participate in the full software development life cycle including requirement analysis, testing, and deployment validation • Assist with performance testing activities and support system performance validation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Expertise in QA practices and software testing tools
- Experience writing SQL queries and debugging logs from test execution
- Software automation experience using industry standard tools
- Hands-on experience working in Linux environments
- Shell scripting experience
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and web client technologies
- Understanding of full system development life cycles (SDLC)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to determine root causes of issues
- Experience with performance testing tools and concepts
- Knowledge of payment systems preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
