Senior Accounting Manager
Builder Prime
• Lead all accounting and billing operations • Financial Reporting & Close: Own the entire month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process to deliver timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) • Internal Controls: Design and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets while enabling profitable growth • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash balances, optimizing working capital, and managing A/R (Accounts Receivable) and A/P (Accounts Payable) cycles • Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems, billing platforms, and financial close processes to support company growth and audit readiness • Audit Management: Serve as the main point of contact and coordinator for financial audits, ensuring the process is efficient and results in unqualified opinions • Tax Compliance: Oversee all corporate income tax, sales tax and payroll tax filings, coordinating with external tax advisors as necessary • Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policies, including revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) • Liaise with banks, vendors, auditors, and other financial partners as needed • Prepare monthly board reporting packages and support investor relations • Build, lead, and mentor accounting team with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and growth
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA license required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, minimum 5 years in SaaS/subscription businesses, 3 years in a manager role
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, including complex revenue recognition standards (ASC 606), and stock compensation experience (ASC 718)
- Led audit preparation resulting in unqualified opinions (minimum 2 full-cycle audits)
- Multi-state sales tax compliance experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar cloud accounting systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a "can do" attitude.

Reconcile premium receipts with Stripe/Braintree and loss activity with third-party administrator (Sedgwick). Provide detailed analysis of variances and trends in premium and loss accounts.
