Job Description

Data Migration Lead Architect

Guidewire Software

• Lead data migration from legacy systems to Guidewire InsuranceSuite • Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and development teams • Define project scope, user stories, acceptance criteria, and estimates • Analyze complex data structures and map them to Guidewire model • Manage end-to-end data loading process • Resolve data quality issues and migration errors • Enable offshore teams to deliver business requirements • Work on improving internal processes and methodologies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 15 years + in delivery and/or consulting type role
  • Deep understanding of P&C insurance domain
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Migration tools
  • Previous large scale data migration experience
  • Familiarity with data processing and ETL concepts
  • Strong OOP skills
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Experience working with customer teams
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
