Programming Specialist

Tech Firefly

The Programming Specialist supports the Entertainment Partnerships team in content licensing and programming efforts. This role is primarily focused on the lifecycle of programming content: from tracking and evaluating inbound opportunities to conducting policy reviews and managing the programming schedule. This is a high impact coordination role. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, process-focused, has superb communication and is comfortable navigating large datasets in a fast-paced media environment. Long Term Contract Pay: $65k annual plus benefits Location: 100% Remote (must be flexible to work 8am-5pm PST shift timing) Key Responsibilities - Receive and index available titles from media partners. Evaluate inbound content opportunities against Trust & Safety, Brand Safety, and monetization standards. - Own and maintain the master programming schedule in Airtable, serving as the single source of truth for the global operations team. - Conduct ongoing reviews of escalations for video re-classification. Ensure all content complies with Community Guidelines and Monetization Policies. - Utilize valuation models and classification tools to assist in title selection based on demographic data and revenue forecasting. - Serve as a liaison between External Partners, Business Dev Leads/SPMs, and Ops. You will reflect all changes to programming data based on stakeholder requests, including delivery of localized assets, managing "take-down" requests, and sharing title selections with partners after sign-off. - Prepare performance reports for global sales teams and studio partners.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years in media, tech, or digital distribution with a focus on global operations.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Airtable and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Proven ability to coordinate between cross functional teams (Sales, Specialist teams, Ops, and Partner Production).
  • Comfortable working with high volumes of data and maintaining complex trackers.
  • Extreme attention to detail is required to manage the raw data to production workflow without errors.
  • Preferred:
  • Knowledge of SQL for data extractions and pulling custom reports.
  • Familiarity with navigating IMDb for title research and global film rating standards.
  • A passion for Movies & TV

Our mission is to empower and support nurses caring for women, newborns, and their families through research, education, and advocacy.   POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for managing the daily operations and ensuring the success of Nursing for Women’s Health (NWH), the official practice journal of AWHONN. NWH is a sister journal to AWHONN’s official scientific journal JOGNN, and this role will work closely with the team of AWHONN staff and contracted Editors and Associate Editors who produce JOGNN and NWH. NWH is published six times per year.
